“A Universe Parallel to Our Own” was recorded at Wild Sound Studio in NE Minneapolis with engineer, Steve Kaul. Captain Gravitone & the String Theory Orchestra is Eli Hoehn on banjo & vocals, Damen Price on drums, Kelly Coyle on electric bass, Nate Beran on trombone & accordion and Peter Jacobs on keys. The project includes performances by Jim Plattes on violin (Minneapolis), Travis Domeier on electric guitar (Edina), Jason Helder on acoustic guitar and backup vocals (Saint Peter), Scott Fultz on alto & baritone sax (Minneapolis), Dustin Voges on trumpet (Mankato), Bill “Wailin Willie” Smith on harmonica (Minneapolis) and “Washboard Mike” Wavinak.
A Universe Parallel to Our Own is dedicated to the late, John C. Rezmerski. John was a great poet and writer, a collaborator and friend.
